Our writing activity today is from Joanna White. Joanna is author of The Republic Chronicles and Princess of Beasts. Her newest book—Volcano, has a very interesting setting that prompts today’s activity. Take it away Joanna!

My newest book, called Volcano, is about a famous YouTuber named Liam who is a thrill-seeker. So, he loves doing the most dangerous activities in the world. Recently, he’s been injured, so he can’t do as much as he used to until he heals and he’s struggling with it. Because of that, his best friend takes him on a vacation to Hawaii to try to help him, but they have no idea that Hawaii’s volcanos are about to erupt.
